Pick Me. Pick Me!! Ego Hates Rejection.

We don’t always get to choose if or how a relationship comes to an end but we always get to choose what we say to ourselves about it.

Put a group of unconscious women with their egos firmly in charge of their mind onto a reality TV show - have a complete stranger NOT choose them within 20 minutes of meeting them and watch them cry in the back of a limo because they ‘have so much love to give’ and thought this was ‘my chance at love.’

The ones that do get through start competing like their lives depend on it...pick me...pick me!!!!

Do they know this guy?

Nope.

Do they even like this guy....doesn’t matter - ‘pick me...pick me!!!’

Please for the love of God ‘pick me.’

Ok, so your life is not like car crash TV and you aren’t anything like these pitiful women.

Or are you?

Ego hates rejection.

It views it as a death.

With so much judgement and ending of friendships and relationships at this time your ego maybe taking a battering.

Your power in these situations lies in your perception.

Will you swirl around in victim hood...crying in the back of a limo about all the love you have to give?

Or will you step forward and be the adult in the room and hold ego’s hand and remind yourself that -

Relationships often come to a natural end because our journeys are no longer to the same destination.

Friendships that aren’t able to hold space for growth and differences are doing a disservice to everyone involved.

Growth and evolution means operating at a different frequency - not everyone is coming along for the ride.

AND the most important reminder of all -

As long as you don’t reject yourself you cannot be truly rejected.
